Created during an introspective week indoors during the rainiest 3 days seen in LA since anyone can remember – Puddle is about vulnerability, feeling uncomfortable, dealing with the unexpected and finding the will to persevere against elements that may be outside of your control.
These are all things I’ve been experiencing in my personal life since moving back to Los Angeles 6 months ago – Adjusting to a new environment and trying to find simple and sustainable ways to continue to make work, since most of what I own is still packed up and funds and space are limited.
This is my first Risograph edition. I love the textural quality and the distinctive marks, a signature of the Risograph printer, that makes each print unique. Printed by Jumbo Press, an adorable studio based in Barcelona that specializes in Riso and artist editions.
